Recently we wrote about how West Edmonton Mall and Hasbro Gaming have partnered to bring exciting emotions back to all ages at Galaxyland, North America’s largest indoor amusement park. They did this by bringing family favourite board games to life and we support them with custom signage. While My Little Pony was never a board game, it does bring a lot of magical feelings back to families.
The My Little Pony ride at West Edmonton Mall has a little magic to it as well. Standing at a massive 50’ wide and 40’ tall, we helped by printing and installing this gigantic mural. The bright and colourful map of the pony’s world, helps tie the background into the colourful ride and features pretty seamlessly.
Speaking of seamless, each panel printed overlaps like wallpaper just a bit and is aligned to make the final product look like one giant print. If you look really close, you might even spot the hidden access curtain panel. Used to hide the maintenance door, without looking like an eyesore, the curtain panel was colour matched to be just as seamless with the background and is one of our favourite features.
Our experience in helping Galaxyland come up with some custom sign solutions for their indoor amusement park was a magical experience. Arttec Signs is here to help if you need a special solution for your signage project.
